Michael Frank Fogo, 78, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, at his home in Gaylord, KS.
Mike was born on July 31, 1946, in Beloit, KS, the son of Owen Roland and Ila Lavon (Walker) Fogo. Mike married Marian Hancock on January 20, 1967, they were blessed with three children, Mike, Matthew and Mary.
Mike was United States Air Force Veteran serving from August 20, 1963, and was honorably discharged on August 19, 1969. In his past time, Mike spent time with family and friends. He was an active member of the American Legion Post #3 for 33 years, serving as commander from 2002-2004. He was proud to serve his community and country thru the Air Force with Vietnam being his mission. After he was honorably discharged from the Air Force, he worked for Northrup Grumman faithfully and retired from Northrop Grumman in 2001.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Marian Fogo and his parents, Ila and Owen Fogo.
Mike is survived by a sister, Jan (Fogo) Kidd of Augusta, ME; three children, Mike Fogo & wife Machelle of Charleston, AR, Matthew Fogo & wife Tammie of Lavaca, AR, and Mary Fogo; grandchildren, Hope Nolen & husband Daniel of Nashville, AR, Kailey Young & husband Connor of Magnolia, AR, Michael Fogo & wife Kelsey of Lavaca, AR, Kaitlyn Fogo of Charleston, AR, Madison Romero & husband Danny, Alex Fogo & wife Drue, all of Magnolia AR, Foster Fogo of Dubach, LA, DJ Sessler of Hot Springs, AR, Reed Kopec & wife Hannah of Central City, AR, Andrea Kopec of Ft. Smith AR, Christian & Roy Ewing |||; great-grandchildren, Emma Nolen, Nick Nolen, Alden Allegrini, all Nashville AR, Evelyn Young of Magnolia, AR, soon to be Max Owen Fogo of Lavaca, AR Mason & KJ Romero, Kierstyn Muns, Teagan Kopec & Kayden Williamson, Samantha & Noah Matthews of Hot Springs, AR .

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 113 S. Madison St., Smith Center, KS, with Pastor David Luna officiating. The burial with military honors will take place in the Gaylord City Cemetery, Gaylord, KS. Memorial donations may be given in his name and sent in care of the funeral chapel.
